The purpose of this fund is to grant awards of up to $1,000 to support extracurricular activities of a special needs student. These may be hobbies or interests of the student at the middle and high school levels. The Shinstrom Fund is a 501-C-3 tax exempt Foundation.
There are no merit-based criteria for this award, only a need and a desire for enrichment. One or more recipients of an award may be selected each year depending on need and availability of funding. The application process is open year-round. We encourage all interested families to apply.
